Week Seven: Farm Visit

Today Slow Food: University of Oregon and friends went to see a farm just outside of Eugene. It’s so nice to get back into taking farm photos!

Week Six: First Spring Bee

I competely forgot to post last night until I was all snuggled in bed. So, here’s yesterday’s post a few hours late:

I had my first glimpse of spring! I noticed my plants were going to seed, so I ran outside to check it out. I saw a pretty little bee and decided that would be the photo of the week. I can’t wait for more spring photos!

I love how clear the little guy is.

Week Five: Beach Escape

This weekend I had a much needed mini vacation to the beach. There’s almost nothing better than a winter beach day.

Amazing day.

Week Four: Squirrel Attack

I was almost attacked by this squirrel yesterday. Apparently he was a little camera shy and didn’t appreciate my paparazzi.

Ready to pounce.

Week Three: Raindrops

Torrential downpours and 90% chance of rain all week. There’s that fun Oregon weather I’ve been missing so much… It’s a good thing I’m stuck inside 24/7 working on school stuff anyway. At least this project52 pushes me to take pretty raindrop photos! Thoughts?

You know how I'm a sucker for macro raindrop SOOC shots...

Week Two: Blurred Blue Bird

I knew I had to take a photo of something this morning because it’s the day to post for week two, and I had no photos from the past seven days. I’ve been searching all week for something to take a photo of, and for some reason, I haven’t been able to find anything. So, I was finally forced to take a photo of something this morning on my way to school. I came across this little blue bird in a tree, and the only reason I could get a good photo of it is because my camera was in hand. It’s amazing how quickly I forgot about how important it is to have my camera in my hand at all times after project365 ended. It’s such a pain but definitely worth it.

The focus is definitely my favorite part of this photo.

Any thoughts?

Week One: Project 52

I wanted to bring project365 back for 2012, but I just don’t think I can commit to it yet. So, project52 launches!! Every Sunday from now until 2012 I’ll be posting my photo of the week.

Here’s to another challenge, another year, and another photo project. I couldn’t do this without you guys. This is going to be an epic and exciting 2012, and I’m so glad you could join me.

Nighttime photos are my favorite.
